Executive Head Chef Andrew Scott and his Sous Chef Nick Bennett (finalists in MasterChef:

The Professionals 2015) make a formidable team as they demonstrate how to create food

worthy of accolades.  

With a career developed in Michelin-starred kitchens, Andrew trained with Simon Haigh

from Mallory Court and Simon Rogan at L'Enclume. He earned a Michelin star in 2014

whilst working as Head Chef at the Curlew in East Sussex.

Nick is also a very talented chef, having worked with Andrew at Mallory Court and

The Curlew Restaurant in Bodiam.  He joined Restaurant 56 as Sous Chef in 2015.

 With such a dynamic team, Restaurant 56, located at Sudbury House Hotel in Faringdon

was voted 'Gastronomic Restaurant' of the Year' by the 2015 Oxfordshire Restaurant

Awards, receiving 3 AA Rosettes in 2015 for their outstanding food.  Andrew and his

colleagues are continually pushing the boundaries of culinary excellence so come along
