We are delighted to announce that the very successful Didcot Food Festival is going ahead once again for 2023 on October 7th & 8th at Didcot Civic Hall.
Organised by Great British Bake Off quarter-finalist Christine Wallace, this popular Autumn event grows year on year and features over 50 exhibitors of fine food and drink, street food and skills demos. A fantastic line up of chefs from the Great British Bake Off, MasterChef and local hotels and restaurants will be appearing in our great demonstration theatre.

CHARIYA KHATTIYOT, BBC MASTERCHEF CHAMPION OF 2023
Will be opening our festival at 10:30 ON SATURDAY 7th.
Chariya Khattiyot has gone from master coffee roaster to MasterChef Champion, becoming the 19th amateur cook to claim the coveted title on BBC One’s prestigious cooking competition.
Facing off the talents of 44 other ambitious contestants, Chariya triumphed at the end of eight exciting weeks of MasterChef culinary challenges, which culminated in a white-knuckle cook-off against the exceptional remaining finalists. Chariya was awarded the revered MasterChef trophy by judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace on TV’s biggest cooking competition.
The win means the world to Chariya and means that she can begin to pursue her career in food in earnest. Her grandad raised Chariya and taught her to never give up. And she didn’t!

First time at Didcot Events - Sunday only, 11:30am - 1:30pm
Didcot Food Festival is excited to announce that this year on Sunday ONLY we will be holding an English Wine Event in the Ladygrove small hall.
You will be invited to join celebrated English wine experts for a tasting of fine vintages accompanied by canapes made by Christine Wallace of GBBO who organises the Food Festival along with Jeanette Howse.
We also have celebrated chef Andrew Scott who will be demonstrating tasty recipes using some of the wine that will be available.
Tickets for this prestigious event are just £15 which includes the tastings, canapes, chef demonstration and entry to the Food Hall.
N.B. If you have already purchased a day ticket for the festival you can upgrade for the wine festival on the door!

Following the success of previous events, this years Didcot Events Food Festival is again being organised by Christine Wallace (a quarter finalist in the 2013 Great British Bake off) an active member of the Didcot Events committee. Her enthusiasm and commitment for the food festival shines through the event. By popular demand it is again this year being held in Didcot’s Civic Hall. This celebrated event promises to be even more successful with people coming from all over the county and beyond to join in this well loved event……..
